Trip North Senegal and Dakar
We will depart from the hotel, drive to Banju, and join the ferry to Barra, you will see several livestock on the way, and we will pass several villages, you will also spot common west African animals, and you will experience how they mobile, upon our arrival between The Gambia and Senegal border Amdalla, we will do the usual passport checking and stamping, after we will drive to Fathala Nature Park, to spot different species of animals, rhino, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and so and so, there is also a lions walk to walk with lions (optional) an experience of a life time, we will have lunch before we proceed to Toubakuta, and we will rest before we embark on a evening boat, to enjoy the beauty of nature, we might see colorful birds, we will have dinner, and spend the night, we will depart to Dakar to visit Gorée Island this small island is peaceful and historic, It’s known for its pastel-colored houses and its important role in the history of the transatlantic slave trade, and we will also visit African Renaissance Monument A massive bronze statue overlooking the city, offering panoramic views and symbolizing African pride and independence. we will visit the market. Dakar is vibrant, and cosmopolitan and the city is a major hub for West African fashion, music and cinema. The city has museums, bustling markets, colorful architecture, and a lively Atlantic coastline.
We will drive out of Dakar and drive towards The Gambia.
South Senegal – Kafountine
We will depart from the hotel drive to Giboroh then to Seleti in South Senegal, these are the two border between The Gambia and South Senegal for the usual border crossing, checking passport and so on. after we will proceed to Kafountine. we will embark on a boat. we will see a lot of colorful birds. we will visit around, this is a exceptional experience to see the traditional life and culture. Kafountine — a charming coastal destination in south Senegal’s Casamance region that’s perfect if you love nature, local culture, beaches, and a laid-back vibe. is a coastal fishing village and small town on the Atlantic Ocean in Lower Casamance, known for its relaxed atmosphere, stunning natural surroundings, and authentic Senegalese daily life. It’s much less developed than classic beach resort areas, which makes it ideal for travelers seeking off-the-beaten-path experiences. Long, peaceful beaches stretch along the coast — perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and sunset walks. The coast is lined with filao (casuarina) trees and traditional fishing pirogues, creating great photo opportunities. Nearby mangrove forests and bolongs, you can join drumming and dance performances, participate in workshops, or simply enjoy the rhythms of local music.

To cross the border you will need to bring your passport and your vaccination card which shows that you have the yellow fever vaccination. Some countries may need a visa to cross the border so please make sure to check this with your countries embassy in the Gambia or Senegal.
